Due to the on going installation of our new organ, there is limited access to certain areas of the Basilica & some art work may not be on view.

We are open our regular hours during this process & there is still much to see. Please contact the office for specific closure information.

Mother & Child Outdoor Chapel

Years before the doors
would open on the church
at Mary's Shrine, a unique
outdoor chapel took form.
Within, a bronze sculpture
depicted the boy Jesus
rushing to the safe harbor
of His mother's arms.
As strikingly original as
the surrounding chapel,
it endures, the very image
of maternal love.

The Basilica welcomes guests weekdays from 7:30 am - 5:00 pm & on weekends 7:30 am - 7:30 pm. The Gift Shop is open weekdays from 8:30 am - 5:00 pm & on weekends until 8:00 pm.
