Station Description: Simon helps Jesus carry His cross and rests his hand on Jesus to comfort Him.
Angels descend from Heaven to encourage Jesus to continue His journey.
On the right, there are foxholes in the ground and bird nests in the trees (Matthew 8:20).
Above the trees, a wolf dressed in sheepskin hides in a flock of sheep (Matthew 7:15).
To the flock’s left, a shepherd celebrates finding his one lost sheep (Luke 15:5).
In the center of the Station, a variety of people follow along, including a demon.
At the back of the crowd, Mary continues to follow Jesus on the path to His crucifixion.
